These are the original programs from which the pattern programs were derived:
The names were changed to lowercase and a version number (e.g. _v1) was added.

eng_ped_dark_cam#.f --> cal_pattern.f		Closed shutter calibration pattern
pattern_get_cam#.f  --> orb_pattern.f		On-the-fly orbital patterns
crx_ped_dark_cam#.f --> frm_pattern.f		Frame processing using patterns

Closed shutter calibration pattern:

c2pat_2003_296_eng.grd and c2pat_2003_296_4x4.grd are output from the original
programs.

The current (JUN-2004) version of cal_pattern produces c2pat_2003_296_021859_0.grd.
The difference are:

- the new pattern also calculates a pattern for the pedestal pixels, while
  the old pattern has zeroes here.
- three dark current pixels in the top row on the right are set to zero here
  These were not set to zero in the original.

All other values reproduce exactly.
